What MDFR Reviews in Fire Protection Submittals
MDFR plan reviewers check hydraulic calculations for the correct format — the design area must be identified, pipe sizing must be documented from the most demanding sprinkler back to the water supply, and the system demand must be plotted against a water supply curve from a current flow test. Calculations presented in the wrong format are treated the same as missing calculations.
